Paul Richards — Founder & CEO, Robotic Video Systems
Paul has spent more than two decades at the intersection of professional video technology and the people who use it. As a co-founder of PTZOptics — one of the most recognized PTZ camera brands in the professional AV market — he helped bring broadcast-quality camera technology to thousands of houses of worship, universities, and production studios across North America.
He also created StreamGeeks, a media brand and community that has educated tens of thousands of live streaming professionals through tutorials, product reviews, and live events.
Now, with Robotic Video Systems, Paul is applying everything he learned from the professional world to build cameras that anyone can use — intelligent, automated, and designed for the way creators actually work today.
He's based in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and when he's not building cameras, he's usually on the water near the Chesapeake Bay.
